Cookie Policy
How this website uses essential storage and optional visit analytics.
What cookies do
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser for a website. They can support a session, remember a choice or, where permitted, help measure use of a service. Similar technologies may serve related purposes.
This policy concerns the Mellon Secure Remit website. A mobile app, product platform or third-party website may use different technologies and provide its own information.
Essential website storage
The first-party msr_consent_v1 cookie records whether you selected analytics or essential-only storage. It stores the preference, not your enquiry details, and lasts up to 180 days. It uses the website-wide path, Secure and SameSite=Lax settings.
WordPress and hosting security functions may also use cookies to support authenticated sessions, administrative access or browser-security checks. These are distinct from optional visit analytics. Blocking essential cookies can prevent some functions or cause preferences to be requested again.
Optional visit analytics
The website includes an optional Google Analytics 4 integration. It remains inactive until a valid Measurement ID is configured. When enabled, the integration loads only after you accept analytics. Signed-in WordPress users are excluded, and staging measurement requires a separate enable setting.
When active, Google Analytics can use cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions and report page usage. The website integration removes URL query strings and fragments from its explicit page-view location and disables advertising-consent categories and Google signals. Provider cookie names, durations and handling should be reviewed alongside the live analytics configuration.
Choosing and changing preferences
Select Essential Only to use the website without this optional analytics integration. Select Accept Analytics to allow it when configured, or use Preferences to make your choice. The options are available again through Cookie Settings in the footer.
Withdrawing analytics consent disables further measurement through this integration and attempts to remove its accessible Google Analytics cookies. Withdrawing consent does not reverse information already processed before withdrawal. Browser settings can also be used to review or delete cookies.
Third-party services
If you leave this website for an app store, documentation service or product platform, that service’s storage and privacy arrangements apply. The website’s cookie preference is not a universal preference for other services.
Read our Privacy Policy for broader information about personal data. For questions about cookies or a preference that is not working as expected, contact our team.
